This policy explains how Sanderela collects, uses and protects the personal data of visitors and customers of its website, in accordance with Algerian Law No. 18-07 of 10 June 2018 on the protection of individuals in the processing of personal data, and Law No. 18-05 on electronic commerce.
Data controller
The controller of the data collected on this site is Sanderela, a luxury goods retailer (bags, shoes, eyewear, accessories), with boutiques in Oran, Algeria. Data we collect
We only collect data necessary to operate the site and manage our commercial relationship with you: name, phone/WhatsApp number and delivery address when you place an order or contact us; province (wilaya) and municipality for delivery fee calculation; and technical browsing data (device type, pages viewed, traffic source) collected automatically via cookies and trackers described below. We never collect banking details: payment is made on delivery or directly with the seller.
Purposes of processing
Your data is used to: process and deliver your orders (including sharing the information required by our delivery partner); respond to your inquiries; improve the site based on anonymized traffic statistics; and, if you consent via the cookie banner, show you relevant advertising on social media (Meta/Facebook/Instagram) and measure the effectiveness of our ad campaigns.
Legal basis and consent
Processing your data to fulfil an order or handle your request is based on the pre-contractual or contractual relationship. Audience-measurement and advertising cookies (Meta Pixel) are only set after you give explicit consent via the banner shown on your first visit. You may withdraw this consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies or by contacting us.
Cookies and trackers used
Strictly necessary cookies: required for the site to work (cart, language preference, remembering your consent choice); these do not require consent. Audience measurement: Vercel Analytics, a cookie-free analytics tool that does not collect personally identifiable data, used to understand overall site traffic. Advertising cookies: the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram), set only if you accept cookies, is used to measure the effectiveness of our ad campaigns and show you relevant ads on Meta platforms. You can accept or decline these non-essential cookies at any time via the banner at the bottom of the page.
Data recipients and transfers
Your data may be shared with: our delivery partner (RJ360Express) to ship your orders; our hosting and technical infrastructure providers (Vercel, Google Firebase), which may host data on servers located outside Algeria under contractual confidentiality safeguards; and, for visitors who consented to advertising cookies, Meta Platforms Inc., which processes data collected via the Meta Pixel under its own privacy policy. We never sell your data to third parties.
Data retention
Order-related data is kept for as long as necessary to process it, then archived for the period required by our accounting and commercial obligations. Contact data is kept for three years from the last exchange, unless you request earlier deletion. Cookie consent is stored for 6 months, after which you will be asked again.
Your rights
In accordance with Law No. 18-07, you have a right of access, rectification and objection on legitimate grounds regarding your personal data, as well as a right to object to its use for commercial prospecting. You may exercise these rights by contacting us at contact@sanderela.com. In case of difficulty, you may also refer the matter to the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (ANPDP).
Data security
We implement reasonable technical measures (restricted access, database security rules, anti-bot verification) to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure.
